Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 1-3 years of civil engineering experience related to site design, land development, and land use permitting
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills
- Candidate must be an "Engineer Intern" or "Engineer in Training" (E.I./E.I.T.) or a Professional Engineer (P.E.)
Responsibilities
- Create engineering plans for land development projects
- Work closely with project managers to establish project timelines and designs
- Develop diagrams and visual aids and prepare design specifications
- Execute project based on outlined criteria
- Meet with local government officials to gain project approval
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
- Professional Land Surveyor License (PLS) for the state of Missouri is required (Candidates with licenses in both Missouri & Illinois preferred).
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, legal requirements, and technical methodologies.
- Proficient in using surveying equipment and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys using advanced surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and laser levels.
- Determine and document precise measurements of land features, boundaries, and elevations.
- Analyze survey data and prepare detailed reports, maps, and drawings.
- Research and analyze legal documents, deeds, and previous surveys to establish accurate property boundaries.
- Resolve boundary disputes and discrepancies through thorough investigation and communication with relevant parties.
